Location: Minneapolis. I recently picked up a KTM 690 Enduro, and put some iron butt miles on it. The stock tires on it worked great off road, but were a slog onroad. For 2019, as you’d expect, the changes are a little less ground-breaking but still show progression. It shows too that KTM is taking development forward with R&D and race team input plus they are also using customer feedback to improve performance and reliability. Holly Springs N.C. I own a Duke 790 and concur with what shep said above. Very light and powerful for an 800. Carves like a scalpel and 300 mile days are no prob at all. Moving onto the engine: the stock engine in the Rally is one of the first LC4’s with a capacity of 654cc. While it has essentially the same components as the 690 Enduro, the later Enduro models have a true 690cc motor with more compression and a twin spark head. They do make more power but I think the 654 motor has plenty for the average rider.

5. Hey All, New to posting on this forum. Recently got back into riding and purchased a 2021 KTM 690 Enduro R. Love the bike and find I use it about 70/30 road/dirt. I'd like to get a second set of wheels to mount a more aggressive dirt tire on and a more street oriented tire to replace the original tires on the original wheels when they're worn.
