Pick a merchant. The thieves guild fences are best because they have the most gold to trade with, but if you don't have them unlocked than Fethis Alor in Raven Rock (Dragonborn DLC) has the most gold of the general merchants. Sell them as much stuff as they can buy. Then quicksave, kill them, and reload the quicksave.
Friendly advice: Skyrim is much less forgiving than previous games as far as uninstalling certain types of mods. Mods that add or change scripts, for example, are pretty much impossible to get rid of completely without starting from a save before you installed them.

1. Warmaiden's. Warmaiden's is a smithy and weapons store in Whiterun. It is located just inside the main gate, right next to Breezehome. The store is owned by Ulfberth War-Bear and his wife Adrianne Avenicci. It consists of one area, Warmaiden's. NOTE: Like all other stores, Warmaiden's has a number of fixed wares on display scattered around Belethor from Whiterun (Belethor's General Goods) refuses to sell things to me. I've had some weird specific issues in the past and this one is the newest problem on the list. Basically, when talking to Belethor, the option to 'see his wares' is not available. The only options are "How's business?" zTLRC.
