. #1. Hy Guy's. I have got my car back from the garage today and the Bonnet open warning light is on ?? the guy said he could not get the bonnet open as he had broken the handle. I have opened the bonnet and adjusted it to open OK but the light stays on. the question is do I cut the wire to disable it or replace it with new from TPS.

Moveit side-to-side so it aligns with the opening in the inner panel of the hood. I have an Audi A4 cabriolet 1.8T 2003. When trying to open the roof recently it suddenly stopped half way just as the boot lid had opened about an inch. I had to manually close the roof and I now cannot open the boot unless I use the key and the automatic roof switch won;t work at all. Notsure where it is, but check the hood-switch/sensor. Mechanical mounting (adjustment possible ?), general condition (corrosion), and the plug-contacts where it connects to car's wiring. If a normal switch, you can usually check for ohm-continuity and maybe even hit with a (plastic safe) contact cleaner. F37KC4n.
